The Quest
On my quest to erase you, I still find myself attracted to people who look like you.
He has your hair.
He has your eyes.
Will he hurt me like you did?
Will I feel the same love?
Will it consume me?
Will it make me feel alive?
I think I fall in love hardest when I feel bored.
When there is a lull in my life.
A time when I have no hobbies or goals.
When there is nothing to give me a higher self esteem.
Sometimes what might kill you makes you feel the most alive.
